About this Section
Conference competitions in years preceding Provincial Games are Provincial Qualifiers, and all athletes moving forward to the Provincial Games must qualify through this competition.
- Hosted in the year prior to provincial games and used to determine the Provincial Quota allocation and for identifying the athletes who will advance to Provincial Games
- All athletes that have an SOO registration number and are in good standing in their community are eligible to attend the Provincial Qualifier. Please note for team sports the maximum roster sizes will be enforced.
- Hosted by a registered coach / volunteer of SOO
- Sport rules must adhere to the SOC Sport Rules (SOO Rule Supplements) unless previously approved by SOO
- Divisioning / Seeding must occur to ensure all athletes/teams are competing within their correct ability level.
- Registration fees not to exceed $25 per athlete, or $40 per golfer
- Grants are available to assist with competition deficits (Please see Budget and Finance section)
